  • How the Christmas Elf was Saved

    Amy Green

    language (, Nov. 16, 2016)
The following is a collection of letters designed to be used as a story of salvation between our Christmas Elf that arrives from the North Pole each year the day after Thanksgiving and another character or stuffed animal that our children love! I created this as a way to use the traditional magic of Christmas in their Elf that they love so much and the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas. Please feel free to use as it suits your family. Names of any stuffed animals or household characters can be inserted into the headings, and hopefully, it will create a fun and simple way for parents to guide their children through the process of understanding what it means to give one’s life to Jesus, using any stuffies or lovies your children cherish or new ones from a discount retail store to use with the letters! The letters are a pen-pal relationship between our Christmas Elf (or “Character #1) who visits each year and any other doll or stuffed animal (or “Character #2) who will visit this year as well. In their letters, Elf and character #2 become Christmas friends. Through their nightly letters, character #2 is able to explain salvation and the true meaning of Christmas in a way that is easy for Elf to understand. There are 25 letters, for December 1 - December 25. My hope is it may also give my children a story to tell to share the Word and Good News about Jesus with others!

But Santa and Mrs Claus learn that one of the reindeer cannot join the team this Christmas. So they set out to find a replacement reindeer. Then, ALL of the reindeer come down with a malady known as 'Flying Reindeer Flu', and are grounded!
