We are sorry for any inconvenience) Many people have read the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and discovered that some events recorded in one gospel may be told differently in another, or even not mentioned at all. CRYSTAL SEA PUBLICATIONS has taken all four gospels and combined them into one complete story of the life of Jesus Christ. This book takes what is written about a certain event from each gospel, combines it with what the other gospels say regarding the same subject or event, and creates a more enhanced view of that event, allowing greater depth when picturing in our minds what actually took place, giving the reader better insight and comprehension of that event. For instance, only in Luke does it say that Jesus turned and looked at Peter the third time he denied knowing Him. This must have made quite an impact on Peter. Also, only in John is it recorded that when the soldiers came to arrest Jesus and He told them who He was, that they fell backward to the ground!. In the books of Mark and Luke, we are told one of the disciples cut off the ear of one of the high priest's servants, but only in John are we told that disciple was Peter and the servant's name was Malchus. Again, only in Luke are we told that Jesus touched Malchus' ear and healed it. When all the verses are combined together, a more complete and detailed story is revealed. Those who have read the four gospels are aware there are still debates regarding the chronology of events. It is not the intention of this book to add to that debate, but only to create a harmonious flow from one event to the other. There is also controversy over whether Jesus cleansed the Temple in Jerusalem once or twice. Clarification for this is not as important as the event itself, therefore, it seemed unnecessary to present it more than once. The Gospel of Jesus is written in normal book format. Pronouns and some adverbs have been updated for easier reading. Verse references are at the end of each event, and each event is numbered according to Content list. The Gospel of Jesus is for the novice or seasoned reader. CSP hopes you benefit from this new, re-edited edition as of July 2015.
