Hardcover (Running Press Kids, Sept. 30, 2014)
Try as he might (or might not), Frank is a bear who is always late. And when he starts school, the trouble really begins.Frank has very good reasons, like the time he had to save a cat stuck in a tree and the morning he found himself challenged to a charity dance-off, and even the time he had to rescue a family of bunnies from a huge, smelly ogre.Frank's teacher has heard enough of Frank's excuses, but what happens when a giant zombie lizard king really does attack the school?Sometimes there is truth to the most unusual of circumstances, and being helpful can pay off in the most unexpected ways.

    Tim Owen

eBook (Partridge Publishing Africa, Aug. 6, 2015)
Not everybody getsto have super powers. But then again, not everybody discovers a voodoo doll stashed away at the top of their cupboard. And even the few who do discover a voodoo doll stashed away at the top of their cupboard probably never stop to wonder what would happen if they put their own name into it. I mean, thats just insane, isnt it? Like running with scissors or poking a sleeping bear.Steven is not an irresponsible boy and is, in fact, vehemently opposed to poking bears, sleeping or otherwise. In his defense, how was he to know it was a voodoo doll? He thought it was just a very awesome action figure with a pink pin stuck in its chest and the name Kyle Moorehouse wedged into its back.Curiously though, Kyle Moorehouse was the previous owner of this house and, even more curiously, was also the person who had been found dead on the kitchen floor.Coincidence? Or murder?Steven may just have poked the bear without even knowing it.

    Jon Ronson

MP3 CD (Audible Studios on Brilliance Audio, Jan. 24, 2017)
In the late 1980s Jon Ronson was the keyboard player in the Frank Sidebottom Oh Blimey Big Band. Frank wore a big fake head. Nobody outside his inner circle knew his true identity. This became the subject of feverish speculation during his zenith years. Together, they rode relatively high. Then it all went wrong.Twenty-five years later and Jon has co-written a movie, Frank, inspired by his time in this great and bizarre band. Frank is set for release in 2014, starring Michael Fassbender, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Domhnall Gleeson and directed by Lenny Abrahamson.Frank: The True Story that Inspired the Movie is a memoir of funny, sad times and a tribute to outsider artists too wonderfully strange to ever make it in the mainstream. It tells the true story behind the fictionalized movie.Jon Ronson is an award-winning writer and documentary maker. He is the author of four best sellers, Them: Adventures with Extremists, The Men Who Stare at Goats, The Psychopath Test and Lost at Sea: The Jon Ronson Mysteries, and two collections, Out of the Ordinary: True Tales of Everyday Craziness and What I Do: More True Tales of Everyday Craziness. He lives in London and New York City.
