  • My Four Seasons

    Dawid Ryski, Amy Visram

Hardcover (Little Gestalten, June 22, 2017)
Winter. Spring. Summer. Autumn. My Four Seasons follows a charming protagonist through the change of seasons and a vibrant collection of David Ryski's iconic illustrations. Bold colors bring the nuances of each of the four seasons to life: the autumnal foliage in its gold and red glory; the crisp white of winter months; the bright yellow of a summer sun; and the green and floral palette of fresh spring landscapes. As the pages of My Four Seasons turn, so do the seasons. A traipse through a city buried in snow leads to a scene of springtime renewal. Before summer arrives, My Four Seasons portrays the planting to be done before a plentiful harvest. BBQs and lakeside outings paint a backdrop of summer leisure soon to be usurped by autumn winds and Halloween fiends. As all is a cycle, winter returns to begin Mother Nature's seasonal tale once more while its white quilt covers the ground, welcoming slumber to both reader and foliage.

She studies at the Julliard School in New York, where careers are being formed—or not.Between strict practice schedules, music classes, and regular school, Ally doesn't have time for much else. Sometimes she wishes she could break free, but she's never known any other way. Her parents—a professional violinist and a singer—would kill her if they knew she was thinking about quitting piano, especially her mother. So she keeps on going, but as the months go by, she begins to ask herself, does she even love the piano? Why does she play? And how much longer can she stand the pressure before she breaks?

  • Toby's Seasons

    Mrs Heather Eve Wright-Webb

Paperback (Independently published, Aug. 23, 2019)
This is a children's book that was written as a rhyming story with hand drawn illustrations. It is a dog telling you about all the different seasons. Toby was a dog that was rescued and he came to live with me. He added so much joy to my life. I was inspired to write and illustrate this book when I was walking him on a breezy fall day. He loved to chase the leaves as they blew by. I hope you enjoy reading about the different seasons coming from Toby's point of view and hearing about God's love. I have a heart for children, therefore I will be donating a portion of book sales to Appalachian Children's Home.
