"Fernley House" is the 5th book in the Margaret series. Margaret and Uncle John invite some visitors for the summer including her Cousin Peggy. Also staying in the neighborhood for the summer is Peggy’s friend Grace Wolfe. She lives nearby and is the paid companion of a crabby woman who enjoys getting attention from the idea that she is an invalid. Grace has an interesting and quite humorous way of dealing with and trying to cure her cranky charge. An amusing story of friendship and fun. Illustrated.
