On her travels across the galaxy to save her family she encounters a variety of threats; galactic 'flu, alien wildlife, pirates and high heels. Can she and the Doodle work togetherRosemary Smith is a qualified veterinary surgeon running her own practice. Alexei and Riqui, although nameless until more recently, have inhabited her head for a long time, often having conversations on the steps that lead up to the starship. The shadowy figure that sometimes strolled through in the background turned out to be Merlin. She took up writing five years ago when their temporary visits became a permanent residence. She has drawn on her love of science, animals and foreign experiences to create the story. The idea for the Doodle came after listening to so many clients telling her that their dogs could read their mind. Long walks with her own dogs are the ideal environment for ironing out wrinkles and stumbling blocks in the plot.Miss Smith lives in rural South Norfolk with her three children, two dogs, three cats and several other furry creatures. If she had any spare time she would like to play the piano, like she used to. Miss Smith can be contacted at snookydoodle@hotmail.co.uk . Or find the facebook page, Pale Blue Dot Series.
