(2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Oliver Wendell Holmes, born August 29, 1809, was an American physician, poet, professor, lecturer, and author. He was regarded by his peers as one of the best writers of the 19th century, and was a member of the Fireside Poets. In this volume he includes 3 tales in poetic verse: Dorothy Q; A Ballad of the Boston Tea Party and Grandmother's Story of Bunker Hill Battle.

This is a reproduction of a book published before 1923.
