Deniigi found the new invaders of his ancient campground to be different than those of the past. They were careful not to walk on the sacred burial mound in their back yard. They were interested in his culture and respectful of his people. When one of the young invaders saw him in the kitchen she looked surprised, but she didn't run away. Deniigi was interested in these new invaders.The woman who joined the invaders was the biggest surprise to Deniigi. She looked remarkably like his beloved Yakone, except for one thing. She had white skin! Deniigi's old feelings started to come back to him. He tried to warn this woman of the imminent danger he knew was coming. He couldn't hate her.
