Events in Rwanda from 1994 - the genocide of the Tutsi and the movements of Hutu refugees, and the role played in the crisis of the international community - make the central story of this book. They are seen through the eyes of survivors of the massacres and the refugee camps, aid workers, politicians, historians and journalists.
