  • Crayons

    Cam Tolar

(Christian Faith Publishing, Inc, Nov. 19, 2018)
As I sat on the patio of my sister's home in Nevada, relishing the summer-like air in early spring, this story came into my head. At first, I thought of the story as a children's sermon, but as I hurriedly scribbled the ideas down, the book emerged. I began to think of the diverse people who had enriched my life. I likened them to a large box of crayons, each person coloring a part of my life. While I worked out the manuscript details, I knew the only artist for the work was Eric G. Lee. He quickly agreed to illustrate the book. My sister, Cynthia, who knows about writing, was my first editor. Together, we completed the book, and Crayons was created.
