In this anthology, each poem is written as a small Christmas present for the reader, to unwrap and interpret in their own way, as a gift for Christmas. These poems were written for children and adults alike and embrace the 'spirit of Christmas' from many different perspectives... Christmas is a time for family and friends and the themes within the poems echo the sense that Christmas is a time of joy...The word ‘presents’ is a homophone of ‘presence’, and Christmas is a time when the spiritual side to life may seem more important, making the connection tangible between giving and feeling a spiritual connection. This anthology of thirty four poems offers a generous helping of Christmas presents for all who read them to savour. Marina is donating all of the proceeds from this book to an African school in Ghana, run by Leaning Link Ghana, to help raise funds for valuable computer equipment and also to pay for every day school items such as books, which people in other countries may take for granted. Therefore every purchase is helping others to learn....
