Whiskers starts his day at 6 o'clock and we check on him every hour. He takes lots of naps which encourages your child to help you read the book on the repetitive pages. The water colors show the lighting changes on the tree outside the window with the shadow matching the time. Whiskers has many activities throughout the day. Balloons decorate the pages with as many balloons as the number of the hour. We have used primary and secondary colors too for more interest. The book is designed for zero to 6 year olds to encourage Whiskers ' friends to learn to read and enjoy his day with him.
