    language (Hayes-Allan LLC, Feb. 19, 2015)
Erin Morgan thinks she’s had a fascinating dream, one inspired by the castle ruins her family is visiting while on their road trip vacation. Surely it was all so realistic because they’re staying in a bed and breakfast right next to the old castle, right? But if that’s the case, then why does she suddenly have this necklace that she doesn’t remember seeing before now? And why does her phone have a picture that looks like a ghostly image of the castle not in ruins? Her parents are worried about her, but when Erin tries to explain, her mother thinks Erin’s just letting her imagination run wild. As Erin tries to show her mother the picture on her phone, the ruins suddenly disappear, replaced with the real thing.Erin’s back at the castle, and she has to figure out how to get home... again. The answer might lie with the very girl Erin helped rescue her first time in Ner, but Serah’s rather stubborn brother is determined to keep Erin away from his sister. As Erin joins ranks with a couple of clever girls and an intelligent princess, she’s about to find out her own predicament is part of a much bigger picture, and there’s more to Ner than she realized.

  • Here and Back Again

    Aedrien Macayle, Kelly Lenihan

Hardcover (Artisan Bookworks, Dec. 1, 2014)
Here and Back Again tells the story of Mac, a boy who never really belonged anywhere―until he arrives at the Manic Street Orphanage. There, he meets new friends, a strange professor who seems to know something about everything, and a peculiar little animal that leads the way to the greatest adventure of Mac's life. Whether traveling through a wardrobe to a magical fantasy world, or traveling on the ear of a big friendly giant to a land of even-bigger (and not-so-friendly) giants, the world of the fantastic and strange is closer than you think. Mac doesn't find any fantasy wardrobes or giants at the Manic Street Orphanage, but he does find a door to a strange place, and he might just have found a home, too―that is, if he can ever get back there. Here and Back Again will take you on an exciting adventure! If you loved the Chronicles of Narnia―or works by Quentin Blake, Lemony Snicket, Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, and JK Rowling―you will love the Knightswood Tales series by Macayle. Their rich imagery and imagination makes this the sort of stories to be enjoyed by everyone, children and adults alike.
