This book is another memoir, relating to my dealings with Care In The Community patients and the struggle with dealing with my father suffering from Alzheimer's disease. There were some very upsetting times throughout this episode of my life, there were also some lasting memories, some good, some bad. However, they all contributed in making me the person I am today. My outlook on life is to always do the best you can, without seeking reward, other than knowing you have been able to help, which in itself is reward enough, especially if that person is someone that you love or someone deserving of your time. There have been times in my life when I have need the help and support of family and friends, I was fortunate that I had both. Most of the people mentioned in this book, other than my father and a couple of others, were not fortunate enough to get the support they needed to enjoy the life they had been dealt. Care in the Community can be pretty daunting, not just for the community, but also for the patients!!
