    UPDATED JAN 20, 2015 =>> Matti's back legs had been getting weaker from age and recently she fell for the last time; struggling to walk. I knew that it was time to say goodbye. It was an extremely hard decision as everyone knows who has ever had to make the decision of finally saying goodbye to your precious pet, and loving family member. She was a huge part of our lives for 14 years and we knew this was best for her. On January 18, 2015, we let her rest in peace. We are heartbroken as anyone knows who has had to deal with a loss of a pet who was a true family member. My mother, Matti's Grandma from the book " I Am a Granddog ", passed away 6 months ago with Alzheimer's on June 18, 2014 and she loved Matti. I know they are now back together again.Goodbye Matti; you were my precious dog; one of the best rescue dogs I have ever had the pleasure to join my family. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the guy for saving me as an abandoned baby, but this does complicate things. Not to mention the fact, that I think I’m in love with this kick-ass warrior that totally wants me to join her crusade for justice against the aliens.
