    Cris Pfeil

Paperback (Eloquent Books, Sept. 30, 2010)
After spurning Pharaoh's advances, Ammena begins life in the slave camp with the Hebrews, a group she has been taught to hate. In spite of her prejudice against them, she falls in love with Daniel, a Hebrew she has always been attracted to, but one she has always made it a point to disdain. When her father and brothers, Pharaoh's magicians, are also condemned by Pharaoh for failing to defeat Moses, the Hebrew leader, Ammena turns to Daniel and to Moses himself for help. Through her experiences with the Hebrews and their God, and the challenges she encounters, Ammena finds her true identity, not only as a woman and a wife, but also as a warrior. In a prophecy given to her by Moses, Ammena is shocked to discover that the fight between good and evil that starts with her will continue through her descendants; but to understand their stories, you must first understand hers. It all begins with A Shepherd's Rod. About the Author: Cris Pfeil earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree in Education at Bridgewater State College.
