    Jaylen and Zeriel are sent to the werewolf country of Wolfekin to follow a letter that appears to be written by the recently deceased Axaniel. While they attempt to figure out a way to solve the problems with a demonic rift that has formed in the area, Jaylen's light magic continues to corrode his soul and weaken his body.
