  • Fish story

    Robert Tallon

Hardcover (Holt, Rinehart and Winston, March 15, 1977)
Little Fish talks himself out of Big Cat's frying pan and back into his pond in this flimsy fish story. A tale of another fish ""so big, he'd fill the kitchen"" is enough to fool the cat (who'd tricked the fish into his pan in the first place). But you'd have to be as gullible as these two to be taken in by Tallon's blocky stylized cat and his bare, day-glo world. Readers may wonder how Big Cat talks with a bag in his mouth, and why he alternates from pink to orange. . . if they care.

This is one of my trips. I'll go someplace, do something, see something. By reading, you'll go along and hopefully enjoy what I show you. Ransch Trips will vary in their scope; none will be the same. There will be photos since I'm an advanced amateur photographer, and there will be written commentary since I'm also a writer and publisher. That's all I hope you'll need to know, so let's get started on this trip that involves fish. Oh by the way, I'm not going fishing, so don't set your heart on that. Not this time anyway.
