Traveling the world taught the author, Lorie Lee, that children are children no matter where they live. After having a child of her own, she realized that there wasn t a great book out there to help her son realize this global concept. A Day in A Life was born out of a need for a children s book to show how a boy from Colorado and a boy from Nicaragua can be friends and share dreams!
