Books in The Girls Of Denver series

While the three of us are at dinner tonight, Dad will be proposing to his amazing and wonderful girlfriend of three years, Amanda. To make it even more special, he will be proposing P.F. Chang’s. This restaurant is the place where Dad and Amanda had their first date! I love Amanda so much, and want more than anything for her to say yes. After all, I cannot imagine a better stepmom for me than her!

Earlier this week, my best friends and boyfriend came up with an idea. The idea was for Isaiah to throw a co-ed sleepover for me at his mansion. The purpose of the sleepover was to help me have a good time and feel better for just a little while. After talking to his parents and my Dad, they agreed. Pretty soon, my best friends, boyfriend’s , and a group of our closest friends were in. After all, they thought it was a good idea, too. As the doorbell rang, I kissed my Dad and headed out the door to meet Isaiah. After all, I had a party to get to.

As Trevor began to play the melody for the verse after the second chorus, it was not his voice that could be heard. It was a young woman's. Moments later, Blythe was singing and making her way from backstage to where Trevor was sitting. All of a sudden the crowd, as well as my best friends and me began to stand up, clap and cheer. Moments later, Cassidy, Brooke, Joseph and I clasped our hands over our mouths. After all, our best friend was here after two years of being gone.

As the plethora of guests sang “Praise To The Lord, The Almighty”, and Pastor Holly led Dad and me to our seats, I could feel the plethora of the attendees eyes on us. Even though it made me happy that a plethora of people (including my teachers, friends, boyfriend, best friends, and their parents) had shown up, it kind of made me a little nervous.On a different note, sadness once again filled my heart. Walking down with the walkway with Dad, and sitting in our seats reminded me once again that Mom was gone. Words cannot describe how broken this realization made me feel.

As I change from my school clothes into a tuxedo, my heart is thudding in my chest.I am about to ask the girl of my dreams to the prom. Not only are my best friends in on it, but my teammates from the football team, the girls from the dance team, and Miss Perrie are in on it, too. In fact, Miss Perrie is letting the football players and I disrupt her class in the best way possible.

All season long, the Braxton Bears Varsity volleyball team had been undefeated. This glory had led us to being invited to compete at the 2018 Volleyball State Championships this year. If we win, the volley-ball team and I will received individual trophies, a large trophy, and $10,000 for our school. With this said, I hope that the team and I win today. After all, winning todaywould it mean a perfect season for the volleyball team and me.
