Books in Oxford Spelling Workbooks series

Following on from the At Home with Spelling 1-2 for the trade, the Oxford Spelling Workbooks have been expanded to a series of six fill-in workbooks for schools: books 1-2 for Key Stage 1, books 3-6 for Key Stage 2. The content progresses systematically through all the necessary spelling rules, and is cross-referenced to the sequence in the National Literacy Strategy Framework. This is Workbook 2, and is aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils.

These are four new titles at pre-school level, to follow on from Reading, Writing, Numbers, Shape and Size. The features of the series are: plenty of interactive work, through the 48 pages; accessible two-colour artwork, inviting filling-in on the page; simplicity of instructions to the child;explanation of exercises for parents; introduction to skills required for National Curriculum English and Maths; experienced author, who has written for Oxford Junior Workbooks and Oxford Reading Tree.
