Use stickers and wide tracing paths to help kids draw lines of all kinds to get ready to read and write! Why are lines so important? Every letter of the alphabet is a series of lines. This great little skill-building book uses instructions such as, "What a beautiful day. Find the stickers for the bees, leaves, and plants and stick them where they belong," and "Trace the dotted lines to finish the cloud, caterpillar, and rainbow. Then, color the rest of the picture." By tracing different kinds of lines, toddlers and early preschoolers practice important pre-writing skills. By matching the stickers to the places where they are missing in the colorful scenes, little learners also begin to recognize shapes and patterns. Finishing up with coloring adds to the fun. A picture clue--pencil or sticker icon--at the bottom of each page identifies the main activity at a glance. With a little reading help from you, watch your little one grasp basic skills in a snap with Little Ones Lines.
