This story exists within the original ''Legend of the Red Sun Village'' universe and chronicles the events of a man struggling to comprehend the true meaning of ''doing the right thing''. This is the first book in the Saga to showcase the origins of a Demi-god destined to fight in the Ultimate War of Diyu. During the Vietnam war, a young US Marine named Sean Chambers is captured and imprisoned in a POW camp. During his time in captivity, revelations regarding his fate and his role in a much larger war come to light. With the aid of powerful Demi-god accomplices, the Crenshaw Serpent must ultimately decide where his allegiance lies before an ancient, agent of Darkness chooses for him.

Legend of the Red Sun Village is the first book in a new saga detailing the events surrounding Emperor Yu-Huang and a Darkness consuming the Earth. Yu-Huang himself cannot conquer this great evil and he is aided by a young Samurai by the name of Kamui Li, a troubled yet great leader. Legend of the Red Sun Village is inspired by many works of film with a story set in a mythological era in China. Big Trouble in Little China was a big inspiration as were some other 70's and 80's era works of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Various pieces of music also aided greatly as to create various atmospheres.
