Books in Helen James series

This is the 3rd in the Helen James series. 9 year old Helen James is on a school trip when she falls over a cliff edge but is saved by Hyming. The 'Visitants' had sent Hyming to collect Helen and take her across the universe to meet up with the 'Visitants' near to the planet Chrilren. Helen is required to stop this planet from destroying itself but to her this problem is outside her realms but Zacred would not listen to her and sent her down to the planet and put things right. No matter how hard she tried the beings would not listen to Helen and so she returned home thinking she had failed. The Visitants also thought she had failed them and the beings on Chrilren.

Helen James latest adventure takes her out into the universe but this time it is not a Star System or Planet she is here to help. There is a space craft drifting in space and it appears that all it's crew have been incompasidtated. The 'Visitants' have collected Helen from Earth and taken her into the spacecraft. All the crew are frozen and the craft is far from it's home. Can Helen save the crew and get the spacecraft on it's way back to it's home planet, which Helen discovers is in the Milky Way.

Helen James is now 11 years old and no longer believes in Father Christmas but she helps keep the allusion alive for her nephew Kenneth. As she takes Kenneth in to visit Father Christmas at the shoping centre Grotto she is surrounded by a blue haze, which is the 'Visitants' Hyming. For Helen is a 'Good' and whenever there is a problem across the Universe, the 'Visitants' can call on Helen to sort it out. This time Father Christmas was in trouble and without Helen's intervention Children throughout the universe would not get their Christmas Presents this year. Can Helen solve this problem and be back at the Grotto before Kenneth meets up with Father Christmas?

After 2 unsuccessful attempts to solve a problem on planet Drogan the 'Visitants' decided that they would have to call in Helen James, their 'Good' from Earth. Her first task was to find out why the planet's beings were dieing and once this was discovered she had to stop it. The nearby planet of Flym was stealing their Oxigen Helen found out how and why and then set about putting it right before both planets were destroyed.

The second book in Helen James series featuring Helen James, an 8 year old girl who the 'Visitants' believe to be a 'Good'. They collect her from Earth and take her across the universe to solve problems in other Galaxies, Star Systems or Planets. This adventure involves how various planets define Peace and try to inforce their interpritation on others. What Helen is soon to find out is that unless she is able to sort this problem the Universe will be destroyed and she will have no home to return to. She has just 2 hours to save the world

Far across the universe are the ‘Visitants’. They are a being who patrol the universe searching out Galaxies, Star Systems or Planets who are on the verge of destruction. The ‘Visitants’ are a collection of beings made up of a blue haze, they were not able to put things right but, over time they had recruited 5 ‘Goods’. The ‘Goods’ are beings from across the universe. Each one has a special goodness and special skills. When a problem is discovered the ‘Visitants’ will send one of their number across the universe to collect the appropriate ‘Good’ and once the task has been completed they are returned home again. Unlike the ‘Visitants’ who live for ever, the ‘Goods’ live only for as long as is the norm for their home planet and that is what happened to Tyred, their most experienced ‘Good’. After 200 years he passed away and as a result the ‘Visitants’ needed to find a replacement. A search of the whole universe was carried out and three names were brought forward. Josp from the Whirlwind Galaxy, Veist from the Malin Galaxy and the youngest of them all, 8 year old Helen James from planet Earth, in the Milky Way Galaxy. Helen had no idea that the future of her life was being decided far across the universe. It was only as she was sitting on the naughty step that she discovered her life was changing. Hyming, the ‘Visitant’ assigned to transport Helen, wrapped himself around her and before she knew what was happening he had taken her out of her house, up into the sky and streaking across the Milky Way. In seconds the Milky Way was far behind them. Helens biggest concern was that all hell would happen if her mother discovered she was not sat on the naughty step. Hyming reassured her that he would have her back on the step before that happened. True to his word, once Helen had sorted out her bullies in the Yunkery Star System, Hyming had her back on the step before anyone knew she had left.

It is Helen James first day at the Academy and two boys who moved there last year decide to pick on Helen. But Helen is more sure of herself now and is willing to fight back. She was in luck as the 'Visitant' Hyming came to collect Helen as she is a 'Good' and they need her for an important mission, the 'Good' Jawake has gone missing. For the first time Helen wanted help from the 'Visitants' Before she would go with him she wanted Hyming to place the two bullies on the school roof. Then she would go with him. Finding Jawake was not easy but she was given the magical Ruby Sword to help her find him. When Helen was returns to the school playground will the boys still be on the roof?
