This is the first case for the four little detectives Emma, Bill, Jacob and Jiji. The book teaches how to tackle difficult problems with logic and how to achieve your goal with perseverance. No specific age is mentioned in the book. You are welcome to read it to a 5 or 6 year old. It is a good story for early readers. Your 7 year old should be able to read it without any help. It is arranged in small chapters, each one maintaining the pace and suspense. The overall length is small so as to not discourage them. The book is set in the real world and is especially suited for those children who question everything and believe in science more than magic.Another mystery in the series is ready and should be available near Christmas. Depending on the feedback for the first two books, there may be 1 to 3 more books in the series.
