This story is based on the Great Synaxarion of the Orthodox Church. St. Mamas’ Church that contains his relics can be found on the Island of Cyprus. The Church that hold his remains has frequent visitors, some of which experience miracles. The non-fiction version of St. Mamas has been written by St. Dimitri of Rostov and other historians.

Her favorite media are pastel, watercolor, acrylic and digital painting. She uses her digital painting skills in her small business of "Photo Restoration." Rebecca has had a lifelong love of reading and hopes that these illustrations will help to generate that love in the next generation of readers.
