  • Five Days Without iPads

    Mike Turnbull

    (Rivershore Books, Feb. 17, 2019)
Five Days Without iPads is a fictional book based loosely on my time as a substitute teacher in elementary schools.I have been taken aback by the use of iPads/tablets in the classrooms. I have been very impressed by how adept the students are at using them. There are times though, that I think they are over used and students waste time searching through topics that don’t enhance learning. I truly hope that students and educators can find a balance in the schools and also experience life and learning outside of the cyber world many are addicted to.Today is a great day to have a great day!
