Welcome to the bizarre world of Albie where the absurd is an everyday occurrence! It's just an ordinary day. Albie is sitting in his paddling pool when...a hippo pops out of the water and asks to borrow his towel! The hippo says the paddling pool is his watering-hole and runs off with it under his arm. After trying to get his kite out of a tree, by rather unorthodox methods, he finds himself being whisked off to hospital in an ambulance. He is examined by doctors, is X-rayed and is eventually operated on! Full of the humorous misunderstandings and adventures that this lovable bear is famous for, this is a great story for the young Paddington fan who is apprehensive, or merely curious, about what goes on inside a hospital. Little Pig Figwort just cannot get to sleep, he tosses and turns, but it is just no good. Who can he find to play with in the middle of the night?
