In Shel Silverstein's classic book, "The Giving Tree," a little boy grows up and chops down his perfectly good, fruit producing apple tree. Instead of using his ingenuity to create a good and wonderful life, he destroys the one good thing that he has so he can make a boat to escape his problems. This new version of the book "The Giving Tree Parody," is a sequel of the old version where his daughter is left with nothing and has to make a life for herself with the remains of a chopped down apple tree. In this book, the little girl discovers that the apple tree is actually still alive. She learns how to propagate the remains of the apple tree to make an orchard which is the beginning of her success. Any parent wishing to encourage their child to achieve their goals should read this book.
