This all rhyming story is based in silliness, however does make one important point: if you rush too much, you'll end up with more work than you started with, sort of a "haste makes waste concept." It all starts with a simple wall-hanging sign that has a saying to depict this concept and ends with the main character learning the sign speaks the truth when he gets a rather large bump on the head from running too fast out of the scary house.

This story is about a brother and sister who are sick of winter and having to play indoors, so they use their imaginations and end up enjoying themselves so much that it's dinnertime before they know it! The illustrations in this one focus solely on what these two are imagining! This is one of those that was inspired by motherhood, as well as this author's childlike imagination.
