"The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (Which He Never Meant to Publish on Any Account)", commonly referred to as David Copperfield, is the eighth novel by Charles Dickens, first published as a novel in 1850. Many elements within the novel follow events in Dickens' own life, and it is probably the most autobiographical of all of his novels. • The Iliad

    Homer, Samuel Butler

    eBook (FLT, Sept. 3, 2011)
Rendered into English Prose for the use of those who can't read the original. The Iliad is, together with the Odyssey, one of two ancient Greek epic poems traditionally attributed to Homer. The poem is commonly dated to the late 9th or to the 8th century BC, and many scholars believe it is the oldest extant work of literature in the ancient Greek language, making it one of the first works of ancient Greek literature. The existence of a single author for the poems is disputed as the poems themselves show evidence of a long oral tradition and hence, possible multiple authors.

  • The Last of the Mohicans

James Fenimore Cooper, N.C. Wyeth, FLT

    eBook (FLT, July 14, 2014)
The Last of the Mohicans is a historical novel by James Fenimore Cooper, first published in January 1826. It was one of the most popular English-language novels of its time. Its narrative flaws were criticized from the start, and its length and elaborately formal prose style have reduced its appeal to later readers. Regardless, The Last of the Mohicans is widely read in American literature courses. This second book of the Leatherstocking Tales pentalogy is the best known. The Pathfinder, written 14 years later in 1840, is its sequel. This eBook is perfectly formatted for your reader, to make sure click «Look inside».
