  • You Are Amazing / I Am Amazing

Ty Allan Jackson, Eddie Taylor, Jolene Bull

Paperback (Big Head Books, June 1, 2015)
This book is incredibly unique! It is an affirmation book. It is a book that affirms to children how special and AMAZING they are. The two things that make it unique is that instead of using computer generated illustrations the author decided to use real children. There are 118 children featured in this book, all amazingly beautiful and different in their own way. The other thing that makes the book incredibly unique is that it is a two-sided book. On the YOU ARE AMAZING side YOU (the adult or reader) would read this to a younger child who cannot read for themselves, telling them how special and amazing they are. But for the child who can read on their own they simply turn the book over and read the I AM AMAZING side. The words are the same as the YOU ARE AMAZING side, I just replaced the YOU with an I , so now they are affirming to themselves how amazing they are!

  • Lacks Self-Control: True Stories I Waited Until My Parents Died to Tell

    Roy Sekoff

    Paperback (Big A Books, June 9, 2018)
If David Sedaris, Chelsea Handler, Larry David, and Caitlin Moran had the unlikeliest orgy in history, the resulting love child might one day write a book like this one.“Although he’s generally agreeable, Roy Sekoff lacks self-control.” Or so proclaimed his kindergarten teacher. Thus pigeonholed, Sekoff spent the next several decades proving her right, gathering many outrageous, sometimes raunchy, occasionally moving, always hilarious stories along the way. From a teenage pilgrimage to a Times Square porn superstore to life-changing experiences with high colonics and psychic readings to his tenure as founding editor of the Huffington Post, Lacks Self-Control is an uproarious testament to his unwavering commitment to overshare.Told with zinging wit and zero propriety, Sekoff’s collection of true tales—caroming between his Miami childhood, overstimulated adolescence, and celebrity-adjacent adulthood—showcases his caustic yet surprisingly sweet sense of humor. Whether he’s describing a youthful encounter with a killer crocodile, an ill-fated attempt to make off with a tissue containing Oprah’s tears, or that time Chevy Chase grabbed his balls at a funeral, Sekoff is a lively, irreverent raconteur whose sharp observations wring laughs out of a ludicrous yet relatable life.“I’ve read worse.” –Larry David “Frank, fearless, and very funny.” –Arianna Huffington “A modern Portnoy’s Complaint, only WAY funnier!” –Jay Roach “Deranged . . . and really funny.” –Adam McKay “Roy Sekoff is living proof that ADHD, OCD, and TMI can be of great value to the betterment of mankind.” –Rob Reiner

    Dennis Staginnus

    eBook (Stag's Head Books, Feb. 4, 2015)
On probation for burglary, disliked by everyone at school, and with no memory of his past, fifteen-year-old Grayle Rowen thought his life couldn’t suck more than it already did. He was wrong—it was about to get worse. Much worse. While on a field trip to the Vancouver Museum, Grayle is forced to steal a Viking runestone from the museum’s newest exhibit. Should’ve been an easy job, especially for a master thief like Grayle. What he didn’t expect was another student, Sarah Finn, tagging along, or the Viking goddess of death showing up to steal the same artifact. Now in a fight for their lives, Grayle and Sarah learn the runestone is one of five markers describing the whereabouts of the Eye of Odin, a mystical orb said to give its owner infinite knowledge of the past, present, and future. Though Grayle would love nothing more than to ditch Sarah, he knows he’ll have little hope of finding the Eye and unlocking his mysterious past without her. Dodging Hel-hounds, Frost Giants, and a cannibal Hex, the two teenagers race from Canada to the frozen reaches of Norway in an effort to recover the remaining runestones. The stakes are clear: find the markers in time and save the world. Fail, and the Viking goddess will use the Eye to destroy mankind.
