This book is a joint effort between my students and Word Ventures, Inc. One writing piece per student was chosen for this publishing. The writing includes legends, adventures, picture book extensions, and fictional water cycle stories. These pieces required several revisions and drafts before reaching this final copy. This book has given my students the opportunity to be authentic published authors, creating a true purpose for the writing done daily in our classroom. The power of being published is astounding!
