Squirrel Race- Book insert As spring sets in and the weather gets warmer, the squirrels begin to come out from hibernating. They are busy collecting, and taking nuts to their holes, in preparation for winter. As they collect, they ate and played at the same time, and even fought for acorns and nuts, before wandering off into nearby gardens, to continue their hunting. They bit and nibbled on whatever they found, including motherās prized pumpkin.
