Leather Bound 1905 - Publisher: Little, Brown and Company 1905. Volume II only. Maroon 3/4 leather with marbled boards, gilt lettering and decoration on spine w/5 raised panels. Gilt top text block. Some edge and corner wear. Interior: Pages are evenly age toned, clean, unmarked. Stitched spine is tight. A very fine vintage book from a private collection.

Nice original green floral end papers and hinges not cracked at all. Tan cloth cover with 3 bright gilt flowers on front panel. Black lettering on front board; gilt lettering on backstrip. Text very slightly and evenly toned. Binding secure. VG . Nice condition. Scarce early California.
