Out Of This World tells the story of two completely alienated but brilliant teen girls who desperately want to escape their mundane lives in a straight-laced California city. My first novel, OOTW follows the girls’ outrageous and occasionally hilarious quest to find social acceptance as high school graduation rapidly approaches and nothing- money, a job, friends, or a boyfriend- seems to be on the horizon. The girls try to fend off a rumor and increasing family strife that threaten to sideline their plans, while regularly quoting lines from an irreverent radio show and piecing together clues to solve a pressing mystery. Now, the race is on to find this elusive Gradius Clench -- through fantastic landscapes, seedy pirate hideaways, and worlds Jack could only imagine -- and maybe, just maybe, figure out how Jack fits into all of this...
