  • Annie: Annie Finds A Home

    Christopher Hardy

    Paperback (Independently published, Feb. 27, 2019)
    Although this is a standalone story it carries on from Annie’s adventures in her previous book. Annie has finally found a place to call home and now all she needs to do is convince Chris his life would be empty without her, and clean up the mess in the kitchen before he sees it of course. Things are a little complicated by the fact there may well be another stuffed bear in the village living in the local café. He though is nothing like Annie, for a start he’s exceedingly clean, well spoken, and nibbles his toast, something Annie would find very suspicious. During the course of this story Chris is browbeaten by a Mrs Crowbottom, laughed at by a group of rough looking men, and is saved from arrest by Annie’s swift and calm intervention (at least that’s how Annie explains it to him). There’s a fire, a trip to Scotland on the motorbike, a few misunderstandings, and lashings of slausages, I mean sausages for Annie. There is also mystery, suspense, and a nice bowl of rice pudding with jam in, oh and there are bedtime stories as well, but they don’t go quite according to plan, so don’t expect too much. So if you are ready to read about a bear who may not have the use of her legs, but who can still run rings round her boat owning biker best friend, let us begin;
