Books in Creepy Creatures series

Leonard Limpet Lost at Sea is Book 2 of The Sea Creatures series and is aimed at pre-school children and young readers. The seaside adventure story is set on Castle Beach in Falmouth, Cornwall. The story is brought to life with wonderful illustrations of the loveable characters: Stumpy the Starfish, Crusty the Crab, Leonard Limpet, Phoebe Periwinkle and The Mussels - Angelica, Cordelia, Henrietta, Purdita and Herbert Edwards. The book is both entertaining and educating with a strong theme of friendship and togetherness.

An exploration of sea horses. It is part of a series in which each volume covers a particular group of sea animals, including the natural history, adaptations, population status (safe, threatened or endangered), interactions with humans and other animals, and conservation efforts. The text begins with a "you are here" description of a deep-sea meeting between the reader and the creature, covering where to look for the animal and the equipment needed to find it and join it in its watery home. The volume then continues to explain this wondrous creature that the reader has just met.
