This is book #3 in the Anne of Green Gables series. Anne is growing up and leaving the Island to spend four years of her life at Redmond College. She meets a wonderful new friend in Philippa Gordon, offspring to an old and exclusive family. Phil's family ties, combined with her beauty and charm, open the gates of all the social cliques and clubs at Redmond. And where Phil went, Anne went. Thus, Anne found her social pathway at Redmond made very easy while other freshettes were doomed to remain on the fringe of things.
  • Anne of the Island Audiobook Cd Set

Audio CD (St. Clare Audio, Jan. 1, 2015)
6 Audio CDs - 6 hours and 38 minutes. The third book in the Anne of Green Gables series, the Anne of the Island audio book, accompanies our beloved redhead Anne Shirley to Redmond College. Here Anne receives numerous proposals, befriends a mangled but determined cat, and sets up housekeeping with her chums in the dearest little cottage imaginable. Gilbert Blythe persists in courting her, but Anne soon sends him packing. Poor Gilbert doesn't seem to stand a chance when the dashing man of Anne's dreams appears out of nowhere.... Our CDs are packaged in premium DVD cases with CD labeling printed right on the CD in full color. We do not use paper stick-on labels, these tend to peel off over time and can really jam up car CD players and computers. We chose to use DVD cases for our CD sets, as we have found they hold up better in shipping and in regular usage than the typical CD jewel case. Please note: All recordings we offer on CD are produced with recordings from Librivox, public domain works recorded by volunteers. We at St. Clare Audio would like to thank the volunteers for their gift of offering their work to the public domain. Also, being public domain works they are available for download at Librivox. St. Clare Audio's niche is providing them in ready-to-purchase CD sets, for those who cannot download, or have not the desire or time to do so, as well as the benefit of a nice case and professionally produced CDs.
