Books in My First Find Out About Book series

Designer and animation director Aaron Stewart grew up in Wichita, Kansas in the 1970s. During a recent visit back home he re-discovered the old, hidden picture albums of his childhood. Their quirky Kodacolor aura and homey settings inspired him to populate his past anew, with the friendly critters he had always wanted to be surrounded by. The past is reanimated in backward projections of childhood fantasies and imaginary friends.

Three introductory spreads set the scene, explaining how we know so much about dinosaurs. Following these pages, the book is split into four sections: meat-eaters, plant-eaters, flying reptiles and swimming reptiles. Each double-page spead includes a large, illustrated picture of each dinosaur, Cartoon-style illustration showing the dinosaurs in size and scale, the meaning of each dinosaur name and how to say it.
