    Renee Duke

Paperback (Books We Love Ltd., Oct. 19, 2016)
No one knows what happened to the little Princes of the Tower. That’s what Dane, Paige, and Jack are told when they start working on a medieval documentary for Dane and Paige’s filmmaker father. But then an ancient medallion transports them back to the fifteenth century and gives them a chance to discover the truth about the mysterious disappearance of young King Edward the Fifth and his brother Richard, Duke of York. “I liked this book. The history behind the story is fascinating.” Marva Dasef, author of the Witches of Galdorheim series. “With her hands-on approach to history and thorough research of her topic, Ms. Duke makes it easy for youngsters to suspend their disbelief and experience the adventures of three inquisitive children.” Calamity (Amazon review.) “The Disappearing Rose is a charming story about children helping children and introduces young students to English History in the most delightful way.” Wendy Laharnar, author of The Unhewn Stone But they’d better be careful. The princes are definitely in danger, and the person responsible for their disappearance just might decide that their new friends should disappear as well.

Reviews: Laurel’s Quest is full of beautiful images: of the strange fairy folk, the Lady of the Lake, crystal horses and the labyrinth inside the Tor of Avalon. The touching sentiment of faith, hope, kindness and secrets revealed, reinforces the truth: there is magic in friendship. –Wendy Laharnar Once again Ms. Bell has rendered the imagery of her setting beautifully, and furthermore, I was literally spellbound by the smashing climax and finish! Bravo! – Sara Durham A page turner! I really enjoyed reading this book, I was almost sad when I got to the last page. Colorful characters and great scenery, make this fantastic story unforgettable! I want to go to Cornwall to see these places for myself and look for piskies too! - Elanta

She doesn't need to share in her friends' spotlight. Becca's happy to follow along in the shadows, as long as she's not totally cast aside. She definitely not ready for guys. In fact, she just wants to skip right over high school and jump straight to twenty-two. By then she figures she will have gotten through her first date, first kiss, passed her driver's test, taken the SATs, filled out all those college applications, somehow survived living in a dorm and gotten her college degree without all the anxiety and drama.
