Other editions of book Little Lord Fauntleroy

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic 'Little Lord Fauntleroy', in the Scribner decoratively bound edition from the early 1900s, this example being from 1902. 12mo, cream cloth boards highly decorated in green, red and gilt on cover and spine (scans), Birch's 24 original illustrations from the first edition throughout, including frontis, 296 pp. (290+ 6 pp. ads). Much better than Good, About Very Good; spine darkened, perimeter wear most notably at corners, small black spot on rear cover, two early owner's signatures at ffep, one of those being a gift inscription. See all scans. Burnett's first children's novel, original published serially in St. Nicholas Magazine 1885-1886, followed by the first Scribner edition in book form in 1886.
