Raised in a Christian home, she enjoys spending time with youth in any environment. She has taught in public schools, as well as several ministries in her church, currently being the Director of Children’s Chapel (also known as Church School.) Known as a “storyteller”, she enjoys sharing life experiences with family members and friends, especially children. These experiences are designed to develop open discussions with the readers; and also, to learn from each other, and to inspire these readers in a world that can be challenging and ever changing. She and her husband will celebrate thirty-seven years of marriage this year and have three grown children and a grandchild.

Dapper is a little spruce tree protected by his parents deep in the forest. He witnesses his cousin pines being selected as Christmas Trees and is driven to be one too. Nature surrounds him and he appreciates the beauty of his surroundings. But Dapper doubts himself. Not getting selected for this years Christmas devastates him. He will be too old for next year. What is his purpose he wonders? His family is supportive as they teach him about other uses for spruce trees but Dapper is not satisfied. Yet Dappers' journey has not begun, travel with him while it occurs. Once it does he goes through a magical process bringing him to a place he could never have dreamed of. Once upone a time, there was a very happy little fir tree named "Cian", who had lost, through strange circumstances, his brothers and sisters. One morning this little fir awoke in a very strange place; a very beautiful place. Unexpectedly, he met two new friends who were standing right next to him. With the help of a little bird, who was sitting in Cian's branches, he found out where his brothers and sisters were brought to and what became of them.
