It all started after school on a Wednesday when Joey Tolino came pedaling like a mad man down the sidewalk that runs through the park. So begins the second installment of "The Judson Coolidge Mysteries."A missing macaw worth thousands of dollars, whose owner is apparently unconcerned with its disappearance. A fortune in hyacinth macaws hidden in a cave deep in the woods, which look an awful lot like birds smuggled from South America. A mysterious conversation in Spanish at Jud and Hank's favorite hangout, “Beezler’s Ice Cream Parlor.” There's, Arthur Guiness, the new kid with an attitude, who shows up with his very strange aunt, Agnes Threadbody, who, if there were such a contest, would definitely win the title of “world’s most gruesome woman.” Then, on top of everything else, an incriminating and very unique boot print keeps popping up everywhere in the investigation - especially at the cave where the parrots are. And the boot print just happens to belongs to the sheriff of Muldoon! Is he involved in criminal activity?Gina Rae Mc Gilkin, the prettiest girl in Muldoon, and some time agent for The Raven's Voice Detective Agency, has been recruited along with Jud's quite invisible uncle, Stan who, as usual, lurks in the background as he assists in solving the case. The regular cast of supporting players are on hand as well: Sheriff Charlie Peeples, Bryce Benson and his sidekick, Toby Harris, “world’s only living brain donor.” Irene (“The Breath of Death”) Beezler, and her sister, Terri “Rocket” Beezler.
