They face several dangers on the way and are continuously hounded by the Marsh Hares, which are large rabbit like creatures with red eyes.’ Concerned for their friends, Tony Turnip and Sweet Pea ask Lieutenant Leek for help. He agrees and sends the ‘Elite Squad of Leeks’ on a rescue mission. Led by Cadwallader, the band enters the ‘Whispering Woods’ in search of Billy and Peter. With time running out Billy must find the tree and return to the ‘Plot’ to save his sister and the rest of the baby vegetables, before it is too late.
