  • Next Door VSCO Girl

    Alina Abid

Alanis Matthews adores the idea of being one of the most popular girls in high school. However, she knows that will require a ton of work because she recently switched to a new high school in the middle of senior year. But she's got a motivation to keep her going; she's got to impress Mr. Popular of Reeves Senior High, who comes with pearly white teeth and a goofy personality. Sebastian Greenwood has been on Alanis' mind ever since she made a complete fool of herself in front of him when she first moved in the house next door. She has always wanted a hot neighbor around her age, and now, when her wish has finally been granted, she knows that she has to be good enough for Sebastian. She has to be mega popular, and an easy way to do that is by becoming best friends with Sebastian's twin sister, Tessa Greenwood. She's the school's lead cheerleader and a VSCO girl who is highly-admired by many. So, being BFFs with Tessa equates to getting the entire school's attention. The only downside to that is that Alanis will have to play a little game of pretending to be a VSCO girl to better connect with Tessa. When the game gets a little out of control and leads to a series of lies, all leading to big betrayal, Alanis sees herself losing her true identity and the respect of the boy she cares about the most.
