Some things are very scary. Everybody is frightened of something. What are you frightened of? Grace is brave about most things she sees. Find out one thing that is scary for her.

This is a game making shadow pictures with your hands. Have a practice first, then ask someone to guess what your shadow picture is. Can you make a rabbit with two long ears? Can you make its ears move? Can you make a wolf or a dog? What else can you make with a shadow?

What can you think of that is fast and noisy? Some things make a lot of noise on the road. Where else do fast and noisy things go?

What do people do when they get dirty? Do you know how animals get clean? They dont have a bath or a shower. They have lots of different ways to get clean.

Do you know how bees make honey? Bees make honey to eat in the winter when there are not many flowers around. Beekeepers get the honey out of beehives for us to eat.

When we make new roads, we need machines to help us. When we build new schools and houses, we need machines. Big machines are strong. They do work that is too hard for us. Some machines help to load ships and lift heavy things. Some machines move earth and rocks.

On Graces birthday she got a big surprise. Her mother and father gave her a card with a string tied onto it. They told her to follow the string to find her birthday present. Can you guess where she went? What do you think she found at the end of the string?

You are good at reading stories in books. There are lots of other places to read things. Where else can we read stories and messages? Why do we read signposts and notices?

How do you move along? Do you move in different ways? Can you creep and bounce? Can you skip and roll? Animals can move in lots of ways, too.

Have you heard a band playing? Which instruments are played in a band? All the people in this family like different instruments. Which one would you like to play?

Have you ever seen a scarecrow in a garden? It helps to scare away the birds that want to eat things that grow there. It is fun to make a scarecrow.

Have you had a loose tooth yet? Did you wiggle it to make it get looser and looser? What did you do when it came out? Where did you put it? What happened next?
