    Early U.S. edition bound in red cloth with gold decorations and lettering, illustrated with uncredited b&w plates, 309 pages + ads. An exceptionally clean copy. The spine has a slight bit of a roll to it causing a little separation between the frontis plate & title page. Hinge is not cracked and sewing is still tight. Owners name and date (1898) neatly inked on the endpapers.
