This children's book was inspired by my daughter, Racquel Evond Simmons, when she was five years old. She wanted me to tell her a bedtime story every night, so I began to make up stories. My first story was about a star that couldn't shine. After that, she wanted another one, so I thought about the grumpy old troll. Then she wanted more.
