This book was written to introduce the biblical based concept of Jesus’ life to the earliest of readers. It begins with the birth of Jesus and progresses through his life with the conclusion of the resurrection. The story is told in a sweet, simplistic way with rhyme and a fun tempo to engage the young child. It is an endearing picture book for the 3-6 year old age range and good early reader for the 6-8 year old age range.

The four Gospels are the source material for this sympathetic account of the life of Jesus, from the traditional account of his birth to his death and resurrection. All the principal episodes are told--his baptism, the Sermon on the Mount, the parables, the Last Supper, the Betrayal, the Trial, the Crucifixion--as well as portraits of the principal characters in the story: Mary, Joseph, the Disciples, Mary Magdalene, Pontius Pilate, and many others.
